Born and raised in Yonkers, NY, Eric experienced the challenges of growing up in a tough neighborhood. Seeking a better life for her family, his mother moved them to Danbury, Connecticut, where Eric’s entrepreneurial spirit began to take shape. Despite struggling in school and finishing with a GPA just above 2.0, Eric discovered early on that academic performance was not the sole determinant of success.

Eric’s first taste of business came at age 16, working at Circuit City during the launch of the first iPod. His knack for selling was undeniable; not only did he excel at selling iPods, but he also mastered upselling warranties and setup services. His extraordinary results caught the attention of regional management, leading to training calls where Eric taught others his sales techniques. This was the spark that ignited Eric’s lifelong passion for sales and entrepreneurship.

From Circuit City to Sears, Eric honed his skills selling everything from televisions to cell phone accessories. His dedication and talent landed him a role managing a small cell phone case cart at a local mall. Working closely with the owner, Eric quickly became the top salesman and assumed responsibilities for inventory, ordering, and operations—all while attending college part-time.

At just 21 years old, Eric took the leap and purchased the cell phone case business with a friend. Together, they doubled monthly revenue from $25,000 to $55,000 in just one month, earning $10,000 each in their first month of ownership. Over time, the business expanded to 18 locations across the northeastern United States, employing over 60 people. Today, their company, Mobile Rescue, operates 11 stores and has generated over $15 million in retail sales.

Eric’s entrepreneurial journey soared when he became a Papa John’s franchise owner, leveraging proven systems to enhance his ventures.
